The following members of the public addressed the Commission: Lou D’Elia and Greg Ginter, the architect for the replacement project. Mr. D’Elia reported that the auxiliary structure may not have been original to the site and it does not have a bathroom. Mr. Ginter stated that only the accessory structure will be demolished. Chair Berley asked Mr. Ginter if there are any plans to rehabilitate the main residence. Mr. Ginter stated that the owner would like to renovate the interior and build a garage and workspace in the back. Chair Pro Tempore Shari stated that she is pleased that the owner appreciates the home and is willing to restore the main structure. Commissioner Genser stated that some of the houses that are north of Ocean Park Boulevard are very important to the neighborhood and he is pleased that the owners recognize the importance and context of the structure to the neighborhood.
